The Nuxalk Nation Administration (Band Office) provides community services by attaining funding primarily from Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC). Some of the services provided include access to Housing, Capital Works, Health & Wellness, Fisheries, Forestry, Social Development and more.

In October 2005, the brand new administration building located at 4 Mile burned down. An electrical fire burned most of the building, leaving a waterlogged, burned shell of the once beautiful building. The building was only about a year old when it burned, taking with it significant amounts of research and program files. Since then, band administration and services have moved back into the old trailers in the main village site in Bella Coola.
